I wrote this article after performing some real world testing on a system with 4x 500GB disks and a single 2 TB disk. I hope to include a table soon showing the results of my testing, but suffice it to say that it was very surprising.
Also, my commands in the article don't mention the no-sync option. I need to update the article with that. Unless someone wants to help. :D
