I have studied electronic since the mid 1960's and built many projects from raw components, i.e. transistors, diodes, resistors, capacitors and integrated circuits et al before the Altair, the S-100 buss, Apple 1, Radio Shack Model 1, and the IBM PC came along. My first computers had a whopping 4k or RAM and no, no floppy drive. They hadn't come to the consumer market yet. Programs were saved on either a paper punch tape or a converted cassette recorder. My first hard drive had a capacity (if you can call it that) of 15 MB, 50% more than the IBM PC had! I built many a 286, 386 based system along the way to today. I have a tenacity for bug tracking and am quite adept at breaking programs that haven't been written and thoroughly debugged so as to handle my inept usage. Hence my moniker for nearly 2 decades now.
